How do I toggle a member's availability?

Find out how to quickly make members available or unavailable

Toggling the availability of a member is an easy way to re-add the member into the current matching cycle, or remove a member from consideration in the current cycle.

Find a member

There are a few ways to find a member:

  1. Use the search in the top navbar.

  2. Visit the members datascreen and click on a first or last name.

  3. Visit the partnerships datascreen and view the members listed there, clicking on their name to visit their profile.

Instructions

Once the profile page is visible, click on the availability toggle and change to the desired setting (Available/Unavailable).

Toggling a member to be available will make them available for matching.

In future versions of SUMAC®, there will be a limit on how many partnerships a member can be a part of, meaning some members won’t be able to be toggled to “Available” if they have reached this limit. For now, there are no restrictions.
